I plan to devote this blog primarily to sharing my journey of keeping my life with my husband simple and fun, and focused on making as many positive memories as we possibly can! I have been very caught up, the last few years, in trying to "find" my "purpose"- and have devoted large amounts of time and money in that pursuit- and am coming back around with a strong sense that the only thing I should be doing at this time in my life is living each day WITH purpose, and enjoying the life I have.
My husband and I have been married for nearly 17 years (in April). He is a 6+ year survivor of an aggressive form of early prostate cancer. He has taken radical steps with diet and supplementation, and is LIVING proof that what you put in does make a difference! Stay "posted"!

I'm just out making quick visits and I wanted to come by and say Howdy! My prayers & thoughts are with you both!
I have come by and done some reading. George will be added to my prayer list, as will you. Blessings,
A couple pics to share with you...

Here is George in his "Prayer Blanket" (working on taxes- ugh!) that the Tuesday Morning Ladies' Bible Study Group made for him. They prayed for him as they tied the knots! I think that is so sweet and thoughtful.

This is the wall I painted for the Sunday School classroom at church- it's a hearing impaired class. An earlier class had painted the hands on the wall, and we turned it into a tree, and then the flower stems will become flowers with hands as the flowers.
Aw, The prayer blanket is such a wonderful gift of love. I bet George feels such warmth of heart & God's love when wrapped in it.
