I plan to devote this blog primarily to sharing my journey of keeping my life with my husband simple and fun, and focused on making as many positive memories as we possibly can! I have been very caught up, the last few years, in trying to "find" my "purpose"- and have devoted large amounts of time and money in that pursuit- and am coming back around with a strong sense that the only thing I should be doing at this time in my life is living each day WITH purpose, and enjoying the life I have.
My husband and I have been married for nearly 17 years (in April). He is a 6+ year survivor of an aggressive form of early prostate cancer. He has taken radical steps with diet and supplementation, and is LIVING proof that what you put in does make a difference! Hi Everyone! Happy Belated Valentine's Day!! I hope everyone had a lovely one. Mine was nice- but not overly fun! haha! I had to go in for an ultrasound- I have been having some pain in my lower abdomen. I went for my annual "women's health check-up" and something felt a little "off" so the doctor ordered an ultra-sound. I've been trying not to think about it- I was SO stressed out about it. The doctor should have the results by Monday. I'm scared!!!
I'm such a wimp when it comes to any medically-related.
Outside of that- my hubby got me a lovely card, took me out for lunch (after my scary ultrasound where I couldn't eat or drink anything 4 hours prior, and then I had to drink 32 OUNCES OF WATER one hour before!!! I could barely walk!!) He also bought me a NEW CAMERA!! It's so PRETTY!!
